Speaking of soft serve, the Cronut King reopened his dutch door–turned–ice-cream window for the season, serving flavors ($7) like burrata with balsamic caramel, microbasil and confit strawberry and salt-and-pepper caramel with devil's food cake, Maldon sea salt and a crispy potato gaufrette.

And that's not all–for a quick, as-you-stroll dessert, you can also find a new flavor of their vegan Oddfellows soft serve: coconut-lemongrass ice cream with shredded coconut ($6). Opening on August 15, the Nolita seafood spot will debut a Mulberry Street takeout window peddling an off-the-menu poké entrée, featuring tuna, ponzu, peanuts and avocado over steamed rice ($16). That's where these takeout window comes in–time-saving snack bays doling out everything from fluffy, buttery biscuits to burrata soft serve.

Summer's quickly flying by, which means you don't always have time for a full sit-down repast in between sunny days at the beach and nights spent toasting the season at one of the city's best rooftop bars.
